Excursions – General Terms & Conditions

By booking an excursion with Kokolis Travel, customers agree to the following terms and conditions.

Bookings & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once the required payment has been received. Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking and contact information.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the excursion and will be stated at the time of booking. No-shows or late arrivals are generally non-refundable. Where mandatory consumer rights apply, these will not be affected.

Changes & Cancellations by Kokolis Travel
Kokolis Travel reserves the right to modify the itinerary, departure time, route, stops, means of transport, or cancel an excursion when necessary due to weather, sea conditions, safety concerns, operational reasons, insufficient participation, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where an excursion is cancelled by us and no suitable alternative is accepted, customers will be offered the applicable refund in accordance with the booking conditions and relevant law.

Weather & Sea Conditions
Swimming stops, boat trips, beach visits, and other outdoor activities are always subject to weather, sea, and safety conditions. The final decision rests with the captain, driver, guide, or excursion operator where applicable.

Departure & Meeting Points
Customers must arrive at the designated meeting point at the stated time. Kokolis Travel cannot be held responsible for missed excursions resulting from late arrival or failure to attend the correct meeting point.

Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the excursion. Kokolis Travel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Health & Safety
Customers are responsible for ensuring that an excursion is suitable for their personal circumstances and should inform Kokolis Travel in advance of any mobility requirements or other relevant needs. Customers must follow all reasonable safety instructions provided by guides, drivers, captains, or other excursion staff.

Children & Minors
Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult unless otherwise specifically agreed.

Third-Party Services
Some excursions or parts of an excursion may be operated by independent suppliers, including boat operators, transport providers, guides, attractions, or activity providers. Their applicable operating and safety conditions may also apply.

Itineraries & Information
Excursion descriptions, durations, photographs, stops, and itineraries are provided as accurately as possible but may be subject to change due to local conditions or operational requirements.

Applicable Law
These terms are governed by applicable Greek law and relevant European Union consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

PERSONAL DATA

Data We Collect

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
